People & Culture Barometer: evaluation of the national quality of HR work in 2021

We are improving the level of HR work in the Czech Republic, sustainability and overall competitiveness.

A nationwide evaluation of the quality of HR work took place within the conference Grow your HR Impact. The evaluation was provided by the People & Culture Barometer, which analyzed in detail and evaluated the condition of HR processes and corporate culture from recruitment to departure.


GasNet, NTT and Amrest Coffee achieved the highest quality of HR work and the highest score of the People & Culture Barometer. GasNet achieved the highest score by 82 points out of 100 possible. This is a full 33 points higher than the value of 49, which represents the average result in the Czech Republic - that is, half of the companies achieve lower values ​​and half higher.


What is interesting about the overall results for the Czech Republic?

The significantly different results of individual companies are surprising. Some companies are ready for job changes in the future, while others have revealed a great opportunity for improvement.


When comparing individual processes, the strongest areas became "Recruitment" with a value of 59 out of a maximum of 100 points and "Employee Performance Management" with a value of 55 out of a maximum of 100 points. Most companies have the best areas in these areas and focus on recruiting, measuring and managing performance. Often this was a priority for surviving change during the covid.


On the contrary, "Career Growth and Succession" remained in last place with a value of 35 out of a maximum of 100 points. Therefore, the Czech market generally pays the least energy and attention here.


The extremely challenging year of 2022 awaits us, and the high results of the best companies have confirmed that they achieve high standards in the field of people and corporate culture and are thus better prepared for next year than is usual in the Czech Republic today.
